It's hard to imagine the perfect canvas in which to paint your masterpiece, somedays you have a great painting surface and others you have one that bleeds through. You may call it luck or just a good idea, but many call it talent. For me it is the way I express myself, through striving for the perfect and trying to create lasting visuals that individuals want to see over and over again. It's a process of elimination, and a way to relieve stress. It takes patience and obedience; for when you learn of something great you must appreciate it and not abuse it's powers. A give and take relationship between you and your art. I will agree that I have not created the most adored art pieces in the world, but we learn from our mistakes and take with us the joys of success. |

The index page where you first enter was originally a more complex entrance, and I soon realized the task at hand would be more complicated than I had imagined. I wanted to create a sort of moving animation that caught your eye, but when trying this in flash it became a very long winded task. I dropped the idea because I needed to focus on what was more important, content. So I made a simple faded texture that looked like it was moving when it stood still. You will find that most of the site deals with a lot of textures since I am fairly good at creating them. The home page is mainly grayscale with a hint of color. I love patterns, they make me feel like there is something of interest to look at, not to mention that they are pretty cool looking. I took this pattern and tilted it a little bit, and then I added some texture above it. A few paint splats, maybe some abstract brushes and a little bit of color set it off. Throughout the whole site I wanted to focus on orginzation and symmetry when I realized life is not that way at all. So I came up with the idea to orginize things my way. |

The portfolio page utilized my favorite color in the site, blue. I used another pattern in this page and incorporated a fade under the text in the table for the classes list. Blue makes me feel safe, it's a cooling color and makes me feel as if I can relax. |

The classes page took a leap into another type of texturing I love, deep abstract. This sort of grungy looking photo held my favorit color again and allowed for some bleeding with the black paint splats at the top. I like my photos to be interesting as well as messy, and this sort of tied into my way of messy orginization. So by now you can see that every page has the same menu bar so it can be orginized, but also has different background images so it can be diverse in it's own way. |

The links page took on a new color scheme, but kept the messy grunge attributes, this page was set aside for resources, help-pages, friends, and anything that helped me accomplish this site. The yellow and green mixed it up a little from the usual blue, because aside from my favorite color I also have second favorites. The credit page had another texture issued with some poloroid pictures laying down with a vibrant red flowing through them, this made it seem as if the poloroid had been overexposed as well as covered me from having to ask for rights to an image. I liked the red because it symbolized an end, and what a way to end this website with a thank you page. |
